Anyone else want to fess up to having been suckered in to this? I was skeptical at first, and it really does have its moments of bathos, but the writing and characters aren't half bad. Marshall, in particular. And there have been moments that are truly moving, although I can't think of one beyond the scene that just played at present writing.

It does, but it's growing on me. It seems to have more heart, and while I am not super interested in Mary herself, the premise is an interesting one.

Well, my husband and I have really fallen for this show. We got into the Closer and Saving Grace last summer, now a new one to keep up on. Last few shows have been their best. We both like Mary and Marshall. Good characters and we like the few from this type of crime show. A bit different from our beloved LOCI.
My husband is heading to Spain for a couple weeks and he ask last nite to make sure this show was on our DVR list. He and I will have quite a few shows to watch together when he gets back!

I am pumped for Saving Grace tonight. Mary on IPS seems to be a similar character, in some ways. I like her less than Grace, but the show is very well written.

The IPS finale was craaaaaaazy, but I think it worked. That show does have moments of brilliance, and MM is growing on me. It's a nice companion for CI in its current time slot.

In Plain Site is one of those shows that if it doesn't show up after one I'm currently watching, I don't think I'd remember it. The last few episodes were interesting, but not enough for me to go out of my way. I'm usually reading something when it's on. I think the issue for me with this show is that it's not very complicated and somewhat predictable. Saving Grace is better, but I'm much more a fan of the Closer than either of them.

I've actually watched a couple of episodes of this show this season. I have to confess I wasn't crazy about it at first, but its second season seems to be much better than its first. I doubt I'd watch it if it didn't always seem to be airing before or after LOCI, but it's growing on me.

This show has been really hit or miss for me. The last one was a definite hit. Two weeks ago, it was a huge miss. I generally like the ones that focus on the witness more than the "main" characters, though the last one was a good mix of both with Brandi going to the ball -- loved the Barbie's dream house line! -- and Jinx pouring the tequilla down the drain. Again -- Mary's response was killer. With more episodes like that, I'm in

I started watching this show simply because of it's time slot last year. Some episodes are more interesting than others. Marshall (FW's character) is great. It's not on my list of must watch all the time like LOCI, BN, etc. I have to agree with the assessments that Saving Grace and The Closer are much better. I feel that those two shows feature very strong female leads, imho.

I watched it the first season, Burn Notice two Season, now I am tired of both. I don't like Saving Grace, But I am in Love with the Closer, I wish all shows would do their opening Credits like they do, you get more of the show that way.
I started watching Raising the Bar on TNT last year I am waiting to see if it will hold my interest this year. I like psych, but have grown tired of monk.

PSYCH improved immensely from Season One to Season Two. The writing just got better, and all of the characters became less of caricatures and more of real human beings, even Lassiter, the fall guy. And the show became funnier as a result. And the parodies of thing of the Eighties, which are usually very subtle, have been great, especially the Friday the 13th one.
MONK's final episodes will be aired this summer, and, as much as I love the character and the show, I agree this is a good time to end the series. But I fervently hope Monk will find some peace before the end.

I watched the little marathon on USA earlier this week and now I'm developing quite the little girl crush on Mary. I don't know that I like the whole kidnapping thing, though. I didn't watch that episode, or much of the first season at all. Is it terribly wrong of me to hope they have her forget the whole thing pretty quick?
Also, Marshall Mann is *adorkable.* I hope there is a Marshall-centric episode in the works, but no cheesy he falls for a witness or assassin type thing.
