Thanks for the welcome. At the risk of falling into "substance abuse" so early after my arrival, I am going to reply to something from earlier on in this thread: I think Nicole is a well-done character, and I’ve liked what they’ve done with her so far. My only concern is that they may not know when to stop. I understand Nicole being obsessed with Goren – they set that up very well. I just hope the writers aren’t obsessed with Nicole!
And since she has shown her ability to wriggle out of all her legal troubles (acquitted on all counts), I won't be satisfied if she is merely arrested and convicted for any new offenses. I really don't want her lurking out there, waiting to pounce to do her dirty deeds.
In order to insure E/N won't be around to go after Goren or anyone else, I am sort of hoping she is killed off, then the writers of course would have to stop using her in any future stories. The only question is, should it be Goren to do it or Eames? If memory serves me correctly, Eames is the only one of the partners who has killed someone in the line of duty, at least on screen--wasn't it in the premiere episode "One"?
Well, these are my initial musings. If anyone wants to continue, or move the conversation to the General Discussion parlor, I'm willing.

It was in that one episode that I can't spell off the top of my head ... homo homus lupus or something like that. Eames shot on of the kidnappers who was drawing a gun on her.
I think Nicole can just get generally crazed & while running away - steps in front of a speeding metro. No need to saddle Goren with angst over her death.
She was very well done in her first appearance & it just should have stayed like that - one that got away. The end of her story.

Oh, active poster, I'm sure! Never could keep my mouth shut. But I joined up yesterday and then, horror of horrors, they expected me to work! At work. The nerve.
I'm having new episode withdrawal of LO:CI that I hope to talk through over the long, long summer of no new eps. Well, I do have some Samantha Buck episodes I haven't seen yet to look forward to. I can watch now, now that I know Eames really does come back.

and YAH, you silent members, please do stay, even if you just want to read ...... but since the polls don't show who voted ..... please please please give your input there. It is very interesting to me to see what other CI watchers think.

That's the one thing I always used to do as a lurker (which was long, long, l-o-o-o-n-g ago). Vote on the polls. It's easy and it's fun and that way I could still put in my 2 cents.
