Hey kids, You might want to tune your tv to tonight's 2-hour event if you haven't. They seem to have let Dr. Lindgard out of prison ... [eta: ok, now I'm REALLY confused. Lindgard=Kevorkian? Lindgard confessed on a tv show? Not the same guy, right? But he has a daughter? And she works at Carmel Ridge? And in other news, I have no idea why they're charging the tv guy with man two. Somebody help me, please!!] [eta: Yeah ... I don't know either *s* ... The guy on the CI show was "Edwin" Lindgard. My apologies But it was still pretty confusing ...]

I noticed this too last night. ;D It wasn't a two hour episode like I thought, but two separate episodes with different crimes. The first introduced Jeremy Sisco, giving a reason for his involvement in the crime (personal), the second cemented his being put with Green as a partner. Both were excellent. Rene Balcer is so cool. As Deathroe pointed out,he used Carmel Ridge in two scene locations. One in the first episode - The Carmel Ridge Hospice Center. However, the address was a Brooklyn one (Avenue A). In the second, the Carmel Ridge Power Station, which was located in Englewood, New Jersey. Odd. Also, having the suicide assisting Doc in the first ep named Doctor Lingard (after the Doc in season 3 from D.A.W.) Let's not forget using the company name "Mattawin Capital" either. Also, the attorney for the perp in the first ep was the actress from season 1's "Art" & from season 5's "Prisoner." Kudos to CI via Rene Balcer. He didn't forget us. And he still thinks about Frances Goren. Must be the library cause.

And the judge in this first show of L&O new season was the artist's lawyer in LOCI's season 1's "Art"!!! ;D
I was so tickled...Criminal intent was written all over this episode. I kept pointing at the tv and screaming that's from Criminal Intent!!!
My husband thinks I may need some serious help with my addiction! ;D

Bummer, I missed it and wanted to record it for a friend. Do they replay any of the mothership episodes a week later, like they used to do for LOCI and SVU on USA?

Sorry you missed it, Summerfield. It was very, very good. I don't see a rerun scheduled yet, Cassie, if I do, I'll post a heads up for both you and Summerfield I've been a mothership fan even through the rough times, so you know I'll recomend it no matter what, but I have to say that this is the best the show has been in a long time. And if you don't want to take my word for it, you can read the TWoP boards. I have seen very few complaints, and what little bit of negatives people have said were outweighed by the positive comments in the same posts.
