A nice little story in my email google alerts today Sunday, October 5, 2008 So does this officially make me a celebrity blogger? So not six days after my discussion with Alexie Gilmore about what would have happened on New Amsterdam, I have yet another celebrity encounter. Yes, yesterday afternoon I was in New York City, joining a friend of mine at a bagel shop a couple of blocks from her apartment, and who walks in? Vincent D'Onofrio, star of Law & Order: Criminal Intent! Naturally, I attempted to take a photo of him with my crappy camera phone (while pretending to be taking a call), and just as unsurprisingly, it didn't come out too well. But I will say this: He's a pretty big guy! Oh, and after we finished eating, I went back to my friend's apartment. When I left, I saw him once again, this time walking down the street. Turns out, he lives right across the street from her. Why cant' this sort of thing happen with Rachel Bilson? Posted by Matt Basilo at 1:52 PM See the photo of Vincent at this link. acaseoftheblog.blogspot.com/2008/10/so-does-this-officially-make-me.html

Thanks caitlen. Yes, Vincent looks huge next to those soda & juice machines in the bagel shop. I wish the blogger would have mentioned where he was or where his friend lived. Not that I would stalk the area, but out of simple curiosity, that's all.

You can also link to this story from the reelvincentdonofrio site.
He seems to be waiting very patiently.

Yes, thank you Caitlen however...
What does it say about how CI news-starved we are when a blurry photo of VDO (again in those cargo capri pants) is the day's headline?
AL
P.S. I hope he wasn't buying bagels.

Maybe he was buying the low fat, multi-grain ones? (g)

In all fairness, when I'm dieting I still buy bagels & other fattening goodies for the rest of my family. There are mini bagels that are popular in NYC - very small but as tasy as the huge ones.

Dang it! The only and only reason I would want to live in NYC. I could be out buying bagles and run into my favorite hunk! *SIGH*

To be fair to Vincent and anybody watching their weight, people can eat anything in moderation. Its all to do with moderation, a little exercise, and good choices, it doesn`t mean we can`t eat a bagel now and then. You should have a little treat DonnaJo, otherwise it becomes hard work.
Vincent does have a nice set of pin`s too, it must be warm weather there in NY. This story and photo can also be found at the VDO board at IMDB.
