I cant see that anybody has posted this artcle here or anywhere else yet. Friday, December 12, 2008 Vincent D'Onofrio Okay, so I wanted to blog about this while it's still fresh in my memory. Rib City Grill was having a fundraiser for the Utah Fallen Officer's Memorial at the State Capitol. (They raised enough to pay for the memorial, so anything else they get will go to the families of the officers. If you wanna donate go to utahsfallen.org.) Anyway, one of the owners is Vincent D'Onofrio, he is the actor from Law & Order:Crimina Intent. I really like that show, so we went to meet him. I was really nervous, and I went to shake his hand and he was trying to give me a hug, so it was awkward, but after the hug, he shook my hand, and I said Thanks for doing this, my husband is a Correctional Officer, and then he said that his brother used to be one, in Colorado, so Jesse said "Really" it was funny, and then we said a couple more things and left. His voice sounded just like it does on T.V. Love him! Go eat at Rib City Grill tonight. Today is the last day for the fundraiser. lgettler.blogspot.com/

Well, unlike the Liza night, we can't say that VDO got the dress code wrong for this event

Well, unlike the Liza night, you can't say that VDO got the dress code wrong for this event I dont remember it being only me commenting on the Broadway dress attire I think anybody would realize its a "come as you please" event, compared to the "Liza" night ;D

The "you" was not directed at you specifically Caitlen, not at all, but a ref to the running commentary on VDO's glad rags.. It was a generic, idiomatic "you", as in "you can't win them all", "you never know your luck in a big city", etc. I've just changed"you" to "we" in the post, so that there is less confusion.

Thanks Caitlen. A wonderful link. As you know, Vincent has always been kind & gracious to his fans, and I never tire of seeing those exchanges. I'm definitely in DB's proverbial, genetic "you" regarding Vincent's attire. Yes, this outfit is very appropriate. At first I thought the suit jacket was a bit much, but he is the guest star and would want to dress up a bit. I like the sweater, too.
