Tonight -- Wednesday, January 7, 2009 -- NBC will air a new mothership episode in its usual slot at 10 PM.
It's called "Chattel" and concerns a child slavery ring.
NBCU has done nothing to promote this episode on air or off. There are no publicity stills available on the NBCUMV site. Shameful.
I, for one, am happy this new episode came to my attention -- otherwise I might have missed it.
I can't imagine how it must insult and enrage the fine people responsible for "Law & Order" -- one of the biggest money-making franchises in TV history -- when their work is so publicly ignored by their own network.

I have seen the previews, Bernard telling a little girl ironing "Your working days are over" I can't wait to see it. Not sure why the previews haven't aired in your area, but I have seen them in mine.

Good to know RC. Perhaps I haven't seen the promos because I spend so little time watching NBC these days. But no publicity stills or detailed listing on NBCUMV! What's the excuse for that?

I really don't watch NBC all that much, except for the mothership. However my boys & hubby have been tuning into all of the NFL coverage on NBC. The quest for who will be in the playoffs. NY Giants are still in it - NY Jets are out. Anyway, that's where I think I saw one, lonely promo for "Chattel." That and at the end of the last new episode, "Zero."
