Thanks Caitlin. I can't access the link, so can you tell me if the article mentions what now happens to the new ADA they have, the beauty queen? I wonder if her job is in jeopardy? I haven't heard good buzz about her.

Thanks. Here's a link to a blog that has some "implied" info about March's return to SVU: All Things Law & OrderAlso, the buzz at TWoP is that McManus will be "Adam Beach-ed" (meaning dumped). At least they hope so.

This is the text of the official NBCU press release. From the glaring omission of any mention of Michaela McManus I believe we can infer that her split with NBCU was not amicable. AL P.S. Am I wrong or is this thread supposed to be reserved for articles specifically about CI? -------------- STEPHANIE MARCH RETURNS TO LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNITMarch to Reprise her Role as Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot for six episodes beginning February 17NEW YORK – January 9, 2009 – Stephanie March returns to NBC'S Law and Order:SVU to reprise her role as Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot, Executive Producer Neal Baer announced today. March will return for six episodes, beginning Tuesday, February 17, (10-11 p.m. ET/PT). "We're thrilled to have Stephanie back on SVU. We've missed Alexandra Cabot and are anxious to see her commanding presence in the courtroom again," said Baer. "SVU is like an old flame. Every time I run into it I think, 'Hmmm.....what if?' I look forward to spending some time working with a production that has always been so rewarding for me," March added. March starred on SVU for four award-winning seasons, from 2000–2003. She later returned as a guest star in the 2005 episode "Ghost." March also reprised her role as ADA Alex Cabot for the Wolf Films/NBC series "Conviction." Other recent projects include the upcoming film "This Side of the Truth," co-directed by Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson, and "The Treatment." She also guest-starred on NBC's "30 Rock," ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and FX's "Rescue Me." Recent stage credits include "Talk Radio" and "Boy's Life." March is repped by The Gersh Agency and One Entertainment. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is a Wolf Films production in association with Universal Media Studios. Dick Wolf is creator and executive producer; Neal Baer (NBC's "ER," "China Beach"), Ted Kotcheff ("Fun with Dick and Jane," "Weekend at Bernie's") and Peter Jankowski are executive producers. # # # Find this article at: www.nbcumv.com/entertainment/release_detail.nbc/entertainment-20090109000000-stephaniemarchretu.html

Thanks for the article, AL. And yes, this thread probably belongs under the SVU sub-forum.
