After all that, you were not the slightest bit curious to at least have a look ZackNicholsgirl I would have looked, just to see if it was that person, seeing i was there anyway, also it would bother me otherwise.

I don't blame ZNG for not making a scene to see if it was really VDO. The chances of him being in a supermarket in Canada are a million to one. Besides I see men who resemble VDO from the back all the time, but I know in my heart that it isn't actually him. I agree that the audience will need some time to assess the Zach Nichols character, but I,myself, do not need an entire season. Even after one little episode, I can see that the character is a pretty good fit for the show.

Quote: I don't blame ZNG for not making a scene to see if it was really VDO A person only has to walk past another while shopping in the same space to view anything/anybody without a fuss. Why would you think a scene would have to be made, i dont understand that comment. Quote: The chances of him being in a supermarket in Canada are a million to one. Yes, it was cute, but unlikely i know. Quote: Besides I see men who resemble VDO from the back all the time Lucky you Quote: I,myself, do not need an entire season. Even after one little episode, I can see that the character is a pretty good fit for the show. Thats great, but there is a very big audience out there, so there will be varying opinions of course. A lot of viewers don`t just watch TV shows because of a certain character. They just watch them as a show they like, but i know that people realize that anyway

Well, especially considering the reports that the Nichols/Wheeler episodes weren't supposed to be very good, I was very pleasantly surprised by this first episode. Does it mean all of them will be great? Well, of course we don't know.

This is when I was able to watch it - like most of you; I am pleasantly surprised at how much I liked JG's character .... and I loved Jeff's micro facial movements. They really hit spot on.
Wheelers hair - flipping up at the end and her face and manner ---- she just reminds me of a very tall PRE-Teen. She looks like a baby & out of place. I just can't garner any real appreciation for her character - that said, the character is not so bad that I cringe; it is almost like she does nothing to detract or enhance the scenes.
I like to know who the villian is at the very start and see how the detectives close in on said villian. I hope we get a few of those story lines this season. I like outside scenes - so I liked the ending; and hope we get more of those - I like to see the elements mixing with direction to give the scenes a more real feel.
I liked this one - can't wait for the next ..... (and that hasn't happened in a few seasons of CI !)

You noticed the hair thing too? LOL. I agree. Wheeler doesn't bring much to the table. It's like she's just there.
