A caveat--I got to see this film for free as I accompanied two young friends to it while their parents went to ANGELS AND DEMONS (a film I won' see because I suspect I'd spend the entire time going, "Now wait a minute...")
It was a generic sort of family comedy film, but a well done one. I have to confess I like any film where giant statues of Abraham Lincoln come to life and threaten the bad guys (g). And while I'd wait for it to reach the second run, lower priced theaters, it's worth seeing for Hank Azaria's performance as the evil Pharoah, where Mr. Azari channels Boris Karloff. And Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart picks up the movie and runs away with it.
