LOL
I misread. Some one up thread said Valentino and I thought they really named him that. No Joke. I happen to like the name Valentino for a baby boy born on Valentines Day. Valentino was an actor too - so I thought it works on many levels.

Yet another reason not to want to be a celebrity--the entire world wants to name your child!

Sabry--I don't know what the time limit is on naming a newborn. I think there has to be some law on this. It might vary from state to state.

I could be wrong...... But I would think, that the baby already has a name, and the D'O's aren't sharing it with the world yet. Which is their choice, and I respect that. I believe that the baby would have to be named before he left the hospital. With the way our health benefits are these days, especially when it comes to maternity. I would think they are all happy at home now. Tired, but happy just my thoughts on the matter

Don't they give social security numbers to newborns? Or did I hear that wrong.

Demand a name for a child must be chosen within a number of days Nn or there is a limit? In New York the parents have 3 days to select a name to be put on the child's birth certificate. After that, they will put "Boy D'Onofrio." Of course they have a name picked. They knew they were having a boy, so I'm sure they had a name selected even before Feb.14th. They just want to keep it to themselves, I guess.

It is odd they didn't have a name ready. Once most people know the sex, they have one or two names in mind.
I'm leaning toward Oscar. No matter what, VDO will always have one!

Oscar! Lol ;D
Well, it better be good because now that they have people's curiosity piqued, it's going to get all the more publicity. They must know that. Think maybe that's why they're doing it? I mean, it's a name for gods sake, not a photo of him coming out of the birth cannal.

Oscar Valentino has a nice ring to it.
In canada, the parents have to apply for a SIN# (our version of the SSN #) if the kid is under sixteen. Over the sixteen the kid can apply for one himself.
