"Brief Interviews With Hideous Men"
John Krasinski wrote and directed this flick (based on short stories by David Foster Wallace) about a student ([pink]Julianne Nicholson of "Law and Order: Criminal Intent")[/pink] using her dissertation in anthropology to process the unexplained breakup of her last relationship. Also stars Will Arnett ("Arrested Development"), Dominic Cooper ("The History Boys"), Bobby Cannavale ("The Station Agent"), Timothy Hutton ("Ordinary People"), Christopher Meloni ("Law and Order"), Max Minghella ("Syriana") and Ben Shenkmen ("Angels in America.") The film looks cheeky and dark, so despite concerns about how Krasinski turned a series of interviews into a narrative, I'll be checking it out. (Sept. 25)
