Not sure I'll ever think of Thanksgiving the same after seeing that card. LOL.
How about making a turkey thankful and having a meatless Thanksgiving?

LOL! That card is hilarious! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I'll be spending it with the family and eating way too much. My sister is going to start cooking on Wednesday and I am hoping to come home with some leftovers on Thursday night. One of my favorite things about the holidays...those leftover turkey-and-gravy-bread sandwiches. And pie...oh the pies!! I think we're doing pumpkin and pecan. YUM!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in America. I don't actually take part, since I'm in the UK, but I wanted to wish you a happy one all the same. ;D

It's never been my favorite holiday, but I wish all who celebrate it a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope to spend much of it watching Fred Astaire films on TCM. My presence may be a little erratic over the next four days (and there was much rejoicing (g)), so I hope all is well for everyone.

I'll have to fight to keep it from being dull but best to all of you. Damn, I wish I could be Logan's squaw in that picture.

Thank you, Jeffan. That is so sweet of you! ;D
Do other countries have a "Thanksgiving" type holiday? A day to give thanks? Doesn't Canada have a comparable day?

Wow, Donnajo, that's awesome! What a wonderful idea to bring some holiday-feeling to those who otherwise do not have a nice one.....
We do celebrate Thanksgiving, since I am member of the American Church in Berlin, but otherwise in Germany, Thanksgiving is the 2nd Sunday in October. But that is a sole harvest-celebration, that's why the German word for it is "Erntedank", harvest-thanks: Children are send to church with little baskets full of fruit and vegetables, nuts and flowers, and those baskets are blessed. In some rural areas, there's fairs around that day.
