Hmm. Based on the advertisers' list, I can see where Amstel Beer, Duracell and Wendy's might be targeted to young male viewers, but the others? No way.
Reading the subsequent posts with blog links is a real eye-opener. Money and POWER seem to be the twin evil heads at play here. Apparently the plotting and scheming have been going on a lot longer, and now the plan is to sacrifice one of the main characters. It's pathetic.

I do like the very talented MEM, but can't see her in the role of a Major Case Captain. Obviously she, along with Saffron Burrows, were selected primarily for their looks. They'll both be parading around in sexy power suits, skin tight slacks and guns. No more realistic "looking like sh*t" characters on LOCI. I feel sorry for Jeff, who has to work with two newbies. I wonder if they will replace ME Rogers with Pamela Anderson?

LOL Donnajo - good one. ;D
I'm sure Zach won't mind working alongside the ladies - maybe he'll be the one carrying the water!

I saw Burrows on "Boston Legal" and really disliked her, maybe it was the character, but I don't see her having enough range to come across here other than a cold english stiff upper lip. Well, anyway it doesn't matter, I won't see any of LOCI v. 2.0, they can cancel it right away. And they will, from the comments I just read on ONTD. Noone will watch.

Well, if they really are targeting those younger males, SB fits the bill. No offense guys, but us girls know where your eyes go first when you're a "young 'un". She's pretty good eye candy, ain't she?

That's sure the truth OBC. So why the heck are they gutting Criminal Intent? There will be absolutely no resemblance to the REAL Criminal Intent. Dick Wolf is allowing this? Or is this to squeeze Dick Wolf out? Whatever it is, it's ridiculous. Use the mass mailer on the Saving site: savegorenandeamesnow.scadoodlehoppers.com/formmail/feedback_form.htmlTell them this is not Criminal Intent.

Allie, your ship analogy matches up perfectly with something I said earlier today.
The new cast has boarded the Titanic.

What the eff? So they ARE getting rid of Nicholson. That bites. I've always liked her as an actress but it took a while for me to warm up to her character and now I even like Wheeler. I like Goldblum just fine but not enough to watch purely for him.
I don't really know much about these new actresses but I'm not eager to find out. Its not their fault but yeah, they're going to have a tough time taking over. I feel bad for them but worse for our beloved characters that have been tossed overboard.

Well, it's just not Criminal Intent anymore in my eyes. I can watch any number of things and it'll be in the same mindless category once there is no Goren&Eames.
Whatever drew me in, had me searching all the tv stations (often fruitlessly), had me upgrading cable, had me scouring the internet for more info and kept me fascinated, will be gone with them.
The loci:alt never managed to get my attention over any other number of shows out there.
No Goren and Eames = No Criminal Intent

Julianne left because she wanted to have more time for her two little kids. I can understand that. Interestingly, they managed to present that as HER choice, which, once more, leads me to believe that the others had NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE. If they'd made the choice to leave, it would've been reported that way, too.

Help! I went to savinggorenandeamesnow.com and it has a link to People's choice awards. I'm trying to vote for Goren & Eames but I can't even find where to vote. I've looked all over that site. I guess I'm having major technical difficulties all around tonight.

I guess I'm having major technical difficulties all around tonight. Hi Untitled! I have a bit of info on the blog savinggorenandeamesnow.blogspot.com/2009/11/peoples-choice-awards-something.html and was going to expand that to clarify things, but now I can't even get to the nominations on the People's Choice Awards site! I'll let be back if I figure it out..... If you get in www.peopleschoice.com/pca/there is a category for each award. You have to tick the box beside Other and fill in the actor's name or tv show, because VDO, KE and Criminal Intent are not listed.
