I notice they're playing this again on USA, post CI. Was the mystery of her involvement in this ever solved?

I poked around the net when I first heard about it, but found nothing definitive. The two most likely reasons are, either: she did a couple of scenes, but they were cut; or she was scheduled to appear, but dropped out at the last minute (it was filmed the same time as Stir of Echoes, and a couple of sites confused the two).
Someone really needs to ask, next time the cast or crew members are interviewed.

Call me crazy, but I am curious if her voice was used. The therapist in a couple of scenes sounds a little like her. I may be totally confused on this, of course ... wouldn't be the first time *s*

I think she was going to do this role but had to drop out at the last minute. She was to play Costner's character's wife.
