showbiz411.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/law-order-epatha-may-stay-meloni-in-erbe-back/Now this is interesting. Roger Friedman reports on recent L&O doings. A big, big caveat--Friedman works for, or at least, used to work for FOX. If FOX News told me the earth rotates around the sun, I'd check five other sources. Friedman has also been the source or at least the repeater of several reports on LOCI that have been malacious and false. His claim of having an exclusive report about the departure of Mr. Bogosian, Mr. D'Onofrio, and Ms. Erbe earlier is wrong, for example. So beware. Patcat

Thanks Patcat. I won't get my hopes up. Erbe was let go because she made too much money per episode. Unless she agrees to a big pay cut, this won't happen.

Oh, and just because Friedman is the kind of person who makes me ashamed to have a journalism degree, I'd like to point out that Friedman's implication he has some kind of scoop on Christopher Meloni's status on SVU, there's several reports indicating that Meloni has debunked the Australian press report that he said he was ready to quit SVU.

Thanks for posting this PC.
Huh. So now the rumor mill is working at an even more feverish rate than usual. One thing that jumps out at me about KE possibly returning is the "around Episode 5" timetable. I don't claim to understand anything about the production schedules of TV shows, but isn't it more likely that episode 5 has already been shot? Aren't there a certain number of episodes already "in the can" before a show starts a new season? Maybe AL or someone else with a better knowledge of such things can clear the air.
