I really liked this episode of American Greed from CNBC, although I could not watch the whole episode. It is about a counterfeit money bandit, that had an schizofrenic mother, and ...*spoilers taken out*... he is a thief, but he sure tried not to hurt people.
The narrative is funny sometimes, the trailer included. Also the episode page has some interesting resources about counterfeit money.
Sometimes I think many criminals just want a happy family life... It is their ways that are criminal... and so they lose their chance of happiness.

For Art Williams, Jr., dubbed the "king of counterfeit," making funny money is a third generation family affair. He shares his knack to make undetectable US currency with his son, who passed hundreds of thousands of fake bills in Chicago.

Case File: The Royal Scam: Kings of Counterfeit
Season 5 episode 10
The Counterfeiter
It’s called the world’s second oldest profession. Counterfeiting. Art Williams Jr. learns the trade at an early age. His newfound skills have him living the high life…but will he be able to stay ahead of the law?
The Money
Art Williams Jr. claims to produce more than $10 million in counterfeit cash. He sells to crime organizations including the Chinese, Mexican and Russian Mafias. Some federal agents say it’s the best counterfeit they’ve ever seen.
Family Affair
Williams is a craftsman…an artist. His bills are impeccable. But his lucrative career takes a turn for the worst when he makes the mistake of turning it into a family affair.
American Greed speaks with the master counterfeiter from behind bars, and reveals the steep price to be paid when betrayal and greed tear a family apart.
In case you want to watch it, it is season 5 episode 10 of American Greed at CNBC. You can find the schedule here:
