:sigh: I'm really feeling like the forum freak right now, but I'm feeling misunderstood. I hope this clears things up. ;D Thanks Skittles, I think you explained yourself perfectly! For my part, I had no intention of making you feel like a freak. I enjoyed the chat with Vincent and was happy he responded to a couple of my questions/comments and I hope he will do it again before the episodes end in June. I wonder if there was any way to track the number of people who were actually in on the chat? That would be interesting to know!

Thanks guys! (I'm not the biggest freak? Guess I'll have to try harder! LOL ) And- um- er -um, :sheepish look: Outerbankschick.... After re-reading VDO's comments again and thinking about what you said, I now see an opinion rather than a spoiler. :blushing: Thanks for helping me see the light! ( This point of view actually makes me much happier!)

Beep, beep, beep...is that the sound of someone/thing backing up? ;D VDO is a Yankee and Jets fan. I don't like the Yankees and I really dislike the Jets. I would never stop watching LOCI for those reasons.

Well along those lines, Skittles, I'd say that Vincent's opinion shouldn't matter then. (I mean because of what you said about people not really needing to "see" it as long as they can imagine it.) His opinion of that scenario ever happening does not mean it wouldn't (writers and showrunners!) and it also doesn't negate everyone else's opinion and/or fantasy. It really is simply how he feels about the idea. And agree or disagree, his feelings are his own. In the S3 extras Rene Balcer states that all of those looks between Bobby and Alex (the ones that many of the shipper communities dissect and attach romantic meanings to) are simply their way of communicating - of bouncing ideas off one another. They are purposely done and according to Mr. Balcer, entirely professional in nature regarding their working partnership. And we have to be real here - how many of us have certain takes on Bobby - about his personality, what he would think or do in certain situations, etc? And how many of those takes would Vincent actually agree or disagree with? Does it really matter? I write fan fiction and I write Bobby based on how he behaves onscreen and how I interpret that behavior - and the things he says that give away his feelings on a subject. How do I know that Vincent would agree with my version of Bobby's "head" and "heart"? And why should I care? It's my story, and my interpretation of what I see, and that's enough for me. Edited to add: You are most certainly not a freak! And I am glad you are feeling better about this. Barbi

Beep, beep, beep...is that the sound of someone/thing backing up? ;D LOL Yup. Backing up and doing a 180 turn! Awww.... you know I'm gonna keep watching the show! May I suggest that a 12 hour delay option be added to the "post reply" button below for sensitive impulsive people? Seriously, thanks to OBC, a new point of view came to me in an epiphany! My shippy MOJO is back!!!! ;D

I'm thinking of a distraught shipper. Think Misery for the 21st century. MJ, I had to think about that for a while too.

The most frightening sentence in the free world:
"I'm your number one fan!"
