, it's noticing little things that develop some of our most interesting conversations -- like the conversations we had about KE being pregnant months before it was announced for sure. But if you'd rather we just keep stuff like that to ourselves, then we will Exactly! We need to discuss whatever we like about the show, otherwise what's the point? We all have preferences. TV is visual, how can we avoid discussing what we see. Feel free to ignore whatever parts don't interest you!

<in sing song voice> Trisha is grumpy Trisha is grumpy ha ha ha Now purple hair I would notice, being a staunch purple appreciator. I don't know if it was on this board or on the other before it; but the issue of the Santa Mug on Eames & then on Goren's desk is an interesting tidbit for RabidFans also.

(Observer obligingly rises to the bait...) You know, I always thought that was a change in camera angle, making it look as though the Santa mug was on Goren’s desk, not an actual move of the mug. But at least you’re on-theme -- dragging a moldly old dead horse out for another go fits right in with Sunday’s Halloween episode! Of course, the last time, PETDA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Dead Animals) sent me hate mail for months for flogging a dead horse. (and no doubt People for the Ethical Treatment of Humor will now harass me for running this joke into the ground and breaking it off...) I just can’t win...

Actually I was the crabby one, I apologize. I can understand noticing it as an editing thing, and musing about it being unprofessional. I just got tired of seeing it in about 4 threads, that's a bit of an overload to my taste. Sorry about that!

Too much school, eh? You weren't crabby, just opinionated. ;D (Which is a compliment here) but, now I have to warn you, you've REVIVED THE DEAD HORSE and you thought halloween was over...

I was watching this episode again on USA on Saturday night, and noted one line that didn't really register the first time I saw the show.
Deakins (to Goren who's on the computer): "Contacting the mothership?"
Which is even funnier when you know some fans refer to the original L&O as "the mothership".
Patcat (who now has an image of Jerry Orbach or Sam Waterson sitting with headphones in a UFO)
