MelTex, your link just took me to tvguide's homepage. Is there another link? The ratings seem to be going up. Last week's episode (Occam's Razor) was a repeat and House received it's highest ratings so far. In fact, it tied with CI for 12th place in the ratings rat race for last week: tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,272|||weekly,00.html If he's remaining wary, does this mean he hasn't gotten around to moving his family from the UK?!

Kissy. That was good news. House renewed for another year. I told you that show would be on next year....it was too good not to be...and, I too am addicted to watching the quirky, humorous man known as DR House... Shadow

Oh crap, sorry about that link Nikki! I just posted that cause I thought maybe the article was online in the entertainment section. I read it in my magazine copy here at home, so I wasn't sure if it was on the web site. Its in the March 13-19 Tv guide magazine: "The House that Hugh Built" is the name of the article
Ok just checked Tvguide.com, the article isn't up yet there.
Basically, it says that Laurie has swapped hotel living for a apartment when he heard they'd renued the show for S2. His wife and 3 kids visit every few months, though doesn't say if he's gonna move them here or not.
Sorry again about the link, I ddin't know if they'd put this article online yet...oopsy.

No problem, MelTex. I think you have to sign up in order to access the online articles/archives. I'll just have to keep an eye out for the Canadian edition of the TV Guide to see if they have anything on House. I seem to remember reading earlier that his family doesn't want to leave their home/lifestyle in the UK.

WOW, HOUSE is getting gooood! Okay, is it just me, or is Dr. Cameron just a teensy bit juvenile in her actions about House? I mean, I see she's got some self-esteem issues, (among others) but this whole " I like him, but he doesn't like me" just sort of reminds me of junior high. When we spilled the beans about " liking" a boy, and then acted all apalled when word got out. *snerk* I like the character, don't get me wrong--but she's really coming off too childish and wishy-washy--too concerned about what others think of her opn a personal level. Not to mention wouldn't it be like a "big" conflict if she were to make any moves on House? Isn't he her boss? (not that that has ever stopped anyone in ANY TV Drama before) I guess I just want her to either get over the fact that House is "emotionally not available (in a HUGE way)", or pin him down and "lay one on him like she means it! *giggle* Picture House's face after that!

Fans of Hugh Laurie and "House" take note--he's a scheduled guest on Jay Leno's show on Thursday, March 24.

Now, if Leno will just let him say something...
Sorry, I'm not a fan of Leno. And his interview skills leave a great deal to be desired.

I've never liked Leno on his interviews ... they are all so standard and superficial. Of course, no one could pull out a person's personality like Carson; BUT Arsenio did ok; even Letterman gets some unique stuff (not much) but Leno is so predictable. yawn.

Did anyone else see Hugh Laurie on the TONIGHT SHOW last night? He was very charming and smart, and Jay Leno actually let him talk.
A rant--I can't stand Jay Leno. Does he even read the crib sheets on his guests? I guess I'm a Letterman fan in this world.

PatCat, HL certainly was quite charming last night. Loved the bit about the whole driving thing in LA. I haven't really been too much into late night TV since Johnny Carson retired. I guess HL and JL bonded over the bike thing. ;D MelTex, I think House likes her too. But he's in too much pain to let anyone get close to him. Except Wilson that is. Do you think he'll keep the Corvette?!

Nikki: Dear god I HOPE he keeps the vet! *smirk* That was just a beautiful peice of machinery. Gotta luv the little boy glint in his eye when he saw it! I *Love* Wilson, btw! He steals the scenes!
Yea I can see that in House, not letting anyone in. But I just wish Cameron would grow some guts. She's a hard working, tough woman, time to show it! LOL!
Oh, and I missed Laurie on Leno! *dang it!* I would have loved to hear his true English accented voice, and I'm glad to hear Leno actually let him talk! *hate Leno*

I find that I enjoy the House and Wilson scenes a lot more than the ones with House and the ducklings. That one scene of H & W driving down the road, in the Corvette was just .

I missed the episodes where the millionaire director (what is he, anyway, actually?) was introduced. Not a nice man. Clearly he enjoys demonstrating power merely for the sake of it. I'm not convinced of Chase's turn into a complete weasel--the character seemed a bit more moral than that. I do like how Foreman seems to be gaining in confidence and strength, although that may be in large part due to Omar Epps' performance.
My fear for the show is that it might be moving too fast. I don't like the idea of a Cameron/House connection, at least not until she develops some personality of her own, and, while I don't mind easing some of House's rough edges, it shouldn't happen overnight.
