Still watching, but I wonder if anyone noticed the movie posters on the wall in the home of Steve Guttenberg's character. Two of the movies were "Shrink Wrapped" and "Pas de Deux." ;D

Well I found it anti-climatic. Once again, I was more excited about the clip than the show. It wasn't Logan punching the wall like I thought. I guess since it wasn't the first episode they cut out the part where she says to Logan, Are you always going to be late. When it was over I had to watch the beginning again, cause with all the introductions of characters I was confussed on who was who. Next week we get the guy From The Unblinking Eye.

I liked it. I've liked all of Logan's eps so far. I sort of feel like the old style CI formula is being used for Mikey and co. while G&E are doing the SVU thing. I prefer old style CI; where the story is purely about the connection between the victim and the killer, not the detectives, and this one didn't disappoint. Christine murdered the wife because the judge was in love with her and wouldn't cheat. Gods, what a narcissistic whore! And her doe eyes with that last line, "But I love you," right after her venomous tirade was priceless. Well, it always worked on the idiot before, right? Only problem is, didn't she just confess in front of a room full of NYPD staff? Sure, hubby's testimony will help, but I fail to see how it was really needed at that point, which is what I guess lead me to feel the ending was slightly anti-climatic. Nice aria, though.
I like Falacci's over confidence, which borders on obnoxious asshole, "Don't look at my partner, he's got my back, not yours." Lol! But, she's a bit over the top at times here (with Ross especially,) so I'm glad I had the chance to get a feel for her before this or I might have felt like she was being crammed down my throat. It's much more fun watching others trying to choke her down ;D
And last but not least, love, love, love my Mikey! "I never thought I'd be the voice of reason" + that smile = fangirl squeeeee!

I liked it. I've liked all of Logan's eps so far. I sort of feel like the old style CI formula is being used for Mikey and co. while G&E are doing the SVU thing. As I watched last night's episode I was thinking the same thing. The formula of Logan's episodes really haven't changed from the tried and true CI that we all love so much, while Goren/Eames episodes seem to be turning into a mash of SVU and CSI. And for where the G&E story lines seem to be going, its working pretty well since they are focusing more on G&E's personal lives than Logan's. I also find that I am enjoying the Logan episodes more this year than last. I got such a kick out Logan and Falacci last night. I love the smiles and smirks on Logan's face as Falacci and Ross went at it. "I never thought I'd be the voice of reason," Logan says. Priceless nosee

Due to urgent work related matters, I haven't had a chance to view this episode yet, and probably won't until some time this weekend. I'll post my comments as well as the poll after viewing. If someone can't wait and wants to do the poll, that's OK with me.

I didn't get a chance to view "Courtship" until today, but it's my favorite Logan episode so far. I actually smiled in enjoyment during some of the scenes, like the one where they catch the two therapists having an affair with the blond hair caught the wall. Also, the blond B***hy actresses' husband, (who was also an actor), was great. So clueless about real life, saying he's using his experience at Riker's for a role as a cop accused of a crime he didn't commit (sound familiar, NBC?) I thought they were really overdoing the "Rogue Falacci" thing in the beginning. I mean, she pisses of the judge, the local homicide Detective & Ross in just a few minutes on screen. Then, everything calms down & she's fine for the rest of the episode. Whe're all aware that there isn't much time to show us the character's quirks, but come on. I felt so sorry for Logan when the Judge said to him, " You've never discussed a case with your wife?" Logan simply said "No." To me, he looked very sad & introspective afterwards. Why, why, why wasn't this episode the first Logan one? There doesn't seem to be any good reason to hold off on this episode until now. As a matter of fact, the out of sequencing was annoying. For example, at the end Logan asks Falacci out to grab a beer. Then he remembers that she's married so he makes some comment about her wanting to go home to her husband. Then she adds, "And my kids." Logan looks surprised, like that was news to him. Meanwhile, in "Seeds" she snarks to Logan about being happy to miss her kid's Halloween Party.

I really enjoyed this episode. And although I still can't stand Falacci, she didn't grate so badly on my last nerve this time. I, too, don't understand why this wasn't the first Logan/Falacci episode shown...it definitely was the strongest so far.
It was very interesting to see the Goren/Eames-esque aria at the end of a Logan episode. Nicely done. I liked seeing the hapless hitman Arnie from "Semi Professional" as the corrupt judge this time around ("Semi Professional" featured the corrupt Judge Sabatelli).

Donnajo, I think Falacci was snarking about playing the clown at a neighbor childs party, not her own kid. Personally, I think I'd pick the crime scene as well ;D
I also felt that "rogue Falacci" was a bit too much in the beginning, and that's why I'm glad they held this one back. I don't like being force fed, and this way I've gotten to know her arrogant temper in small bites spaced over a few eps. I was totally primed for this, and I eagerly await the return of the "Princess" mug. It totally fits with the rest of her. Did you get a load of that whine when she caught the judge in his sitting room, "Heeeey!" Like a petulant child stomping her feet.
I like Alicia Witt; very expressive and snappy. She pops in every scene. I think I'm going to be very sorry to see her go if JN comes back.

I have to say that I have mixed feelings about this episode. Witt's character is just grating on me, but I think she is doing a good job with Falacci. They are writing this girl too way over the top.
The line at the end where Logan wants to get a beer is cute, but it shows how out of order they show these. It is like he doesn't know anything about her....just doesn't make sense.
I don't think LOCI does a very good job of writing about actors. It seems they always make them too over the top. I know, I know they are suppose to be spoiled, and awful. I just wanted to strangle all of them. Just me....
I am looking forward to another Logan/Falacci episode. Just not sure how it will work with his ex-partner later on in the picture. She has such a different style. Does that make Logan go back to being the trouble maker and she the voice of reason??

I am liking the Logan episodes so far, although this one should have been the first one aired. I hate that episodes were aired out of order, made it more confusing. Maybe now things will be in order.
I love the Logan/Falacci partnership. She balances him out. It's nice to see Logan as the logical, even-tempered one for a change.
This episode was very good. It really was like the CI of the past. That made it very enjoyable. The scenes with Ross, Falacci, and Logan are priceless. Rogers was missed though. I'm not used to a CI without the ME involved. Still waiting to see what happens with her character. Hope it's something great.

Uh...I'm on my third viewing of this episode. Could someone please explain it to me? I'm feeling really stupid right about now.

Uh...I'm on my third viewing of this episode. Could someone please explain it to me? I'm feeling really stupid right about now. Well for me, I felt the name of the episode was called "Courtship" because of Logan's new partner is introduced. Falacci, Although I haven’t seen "Cybil" in years, she kind of reminds me of Zoey with her attitude all grown up, maybe with a little more of a "I dare you to" in her. Yeah I know she is the same actress. Christine murdered the wife because the judge was in love with her and wouldn't cheat. Gods, what a narcissistic whore! The way I understood it, The wife never cooked, it was the husband/judge that did the cooking in the marriage. So I believe the judge was the real target. Because she was shot at the kitchen window. Christine learned the judge wasn’t going to rule in his favor. I soooo love the show and characters!
