I don't mind people voicing their opinions, that's why we're here. But "truthful"? How can some people look at a picture and determine that some one is "drunk" or "stoned"?? Look at some of the other posts. Varying opinions are good but, bashing or running someone through the gutter is uncalled for. You seem to be saying that it's okay to have an opinion, as long as members refrain from speaking their minds and shy away from the truth. Unfortunately, the truth is not always sweet. Most times, it's bitter. Sweet or bitter, an opinion is NOT the truth. It's subjective and personal. This is a forum to share opinions. I doubt we'll ever know the TRUTH here and no matter my opinion here, I find this has become a free for all VDO bashing. Unfortumate. I'll go back to by corner now. That's just my opinion by the way. It's not necessarily the TRUTH.

Oh--he looks like my Dad. My Dad does not drink, does not smoke, and is not the father of an 8-month-old. I keep saying: this is just how some people, of certain backgrounds, age-- facially. I have no comment, positive or negative, about the man's weight. Either how he looks is one's cup of tea or it is not. That is not a value judgment In candor, as someone who is not invested in any particular opinion of Mr. D'Onofrio's looks myself, it is difficult to read the bulk of this thread. I would humbly suggest a different reason for tetchiness than being "between seasons," and that is "an election year." I have never known that construction to fail, when interpreting what is happening on a given message board.

There's a thread--CI AND THE ART OF CHARACTER MAINTENANCE--in the general discussion area where all of this might be more appropriate.
I've seen Data Lounge, and this thread is no where near the swill that goes on there. And I'm a huge supporter of people expressing their opinions. I think there are legitimate concerns being expressed here about how the actor's life may be affecting a character we all have great affection for. And a lot of us have, I think, a lot of affection for the actor who plays him as well and we're concerned about him. I would just urge restraint and thought.
As for myself, well, having been compared to Winnie the Pooh, I refrain from comments regarding weight(g)

Has anyone ever thought that maybe Mr. D'Onofrio is planning on doing another "older" Orson Welles part. Also, he looks like he would be a good Santa.
