Screw Amazon unless you're buying through a support portal on a favorite site. Go to your local Walmart or Target. They have the set there for a lot less. The set actually does come with some bonus footage. There are interviews with all 4 regular cast members and some great stuff about Goren from Rene Balcer. If you buy it before the 31st of this month, you'll also get a $10. mail in rebate, so get a move on

Darn, I didn't even think of using a support portal. It's already ordered and shipping (supposedly). I have to stay out of Target and WalMart. There are so many things that I don't need that somehow follow me home from there. Oh, and another reason Season 3 before Season 2 is was a bad idea - instead of watching and taping The Saint last night - I watched The 4400. After all, I'm going to have the whole season in another month (okay, one month, 3 weeks ) anyway.

Here is some info. I got from another board - apparently they are including some interesting features, including a "Who is Robert Goren?" section. Obviously they must have been listening to fans like us speculate about Goren's background. I wonder what they are going to reveal. I also wonder if this has anything to do with the timing of the S3 DVD for September 2004? Is there information they want us to have for S4? I doubt they'll reveal any personal information about Goren we don't already know. And, to use Trekkie terminology, it wouldn't be "canon" anyway.
They may sum up what we know, and give some general thoughts about ideas they had about Goren when they started.

Well, maybe will get definitive answers about this brother, and a reason why he joined and then left the army. I won't hold my breath, though

Or VDO will confide that all the biographical background is made up on the spot in order to con the cons into confessing.

Mr. D'Onofrio did say once that much of his "mood" is made up as they go along (not exact wording) on the small skeleton of his backstory; also subject to change as are most human beings.
I hope we have some cast and writer interviews in this DVD.

I heard a rumor on another board that season 2 might be out in December. (remember, just a rumor) That would be awesome! Man, I am so hungry for LOCI to start again.
