Yes, it does seem to. I'm still pissed Goren and Eames aren't in the final episode with Deakins. Something about that smells funny...... caseyswife (Who may be harping to much on the subject )

I find it peculiar that Goren and Eames aren't in the finale.

I guess in a way it makes sense for the last episode to be a Logan one - As the situation with Chelsey Watkins ( is that her name ) is one of of the driving forces behind Deakins leaving. Although it seems that perhaps he leaves because of his own disillusionment with the way the Dept runs - as opposed to being pushed out or something.
But I get that people are upset as Deakins and Goren and Eames have been together for 5 years - So if would be very nice if they also made an appearance in the final. Perhaps Jamey Sheridan will make an appearance or two next Season. Still being Positive, Still being Positive . ;D
As long as we get a NEXT SEASON I'm Happy Happy - regardless of who gets the last epie.
But I get people being peeved a little.

It looks like most of the personal stuff with Deakins happens in the Goren-Eames episode; it's even mentioned in the first line summary. It might be back to a side story in the last episode. At least he's going out with a bang - a storyline for Deakins 3 episodes in a row - unheard of!

I'm not necessarily disappointed, just a bit surprised that the finale will be a Logan/Barek episode. Goren and Eames have greater longevity so I thought the "honor" of a finale episode would be theirs.
What really smells fishy to me is, Olivia d'Abo/Nicole is nowhere to be seen in the final episode summaries! Can this be true, or are we viewers being set up for a NASTY surprise?

Techguy>> Don't even go there!! Could they be hiding her involvement in what happens to Deakins.... or do they plan a "secret episode??" Or - OH NO - a cliffhanger?? ;D As long as they come back, I'm cool. But I'm still P.O.'ed about L/B getting the last ep. caseyswife

Oh Techguy, bite your tongue! Now you have to go outside, turn around three times and spit to avoid the wrath of the thing and keep from jinxing it. They gave Nicole the season premiere with Goren/Eames, and a key unseen role for "Slither", enough is enough! (And I mean that in every possible way.)
I will miss the character of Deakins, and Jamey Sheridan. I suppose now I have to go track down some of his work, as this is the only thing I've seen him in. They couldn't give the character time before his big exit? Grumble...at least it seems to be a continuing theme, not a two-line "Bye now". Personally I always expected Vance to haul out before anybody; let's hope he sticks around and the writers will beef up the role.
I'm skeptical about Logan's nemesis: not because of Whoopi Goldberg (I haven't seen her serious acting so I can't comment) but just the principle of the thing. Sigh, we'll see.
