You know, if the text is that bad for you, you can C&P it on to a notebook file or something. I think those entries are worth it

Yes this was an episode for the fans. So very nice to see Goren and Eames really working together again. They played off each other, little looks and lots of good body cues.
Yea, Eames did seem a bit annoyed at first, then it turned to laughter when he was going from trick to trick. She knew exactly what he was up too. I liked it when she was even playing with the props.
I have a feeling we will keep seeing references to betrayal between them. It was used really well in the story, but not overpowering. The pain is still there, but Eames has moved on. Thank goodness, for all of us.
Ross and the young cop was a nice sideline. It was also nice to see Ross amused with Goren and not angry with him. Seeing the mature officer get one over the the young officer was good. Ross just watching and letting it happen. I liked that little interaction.

The best acting was done by Christopher Lloyd. He took a role/character and more than gave it life. He has a scene presence that is hard to compete with. In the scene with his new assistant Miranda where he sees her yawning then makes his little cutting remark to her and the audience is great.

In spite of all the hi-tech gadgets and extra help the other magicians use, the old magician actually pulled off the best trick. He escaped from PP1.

Count me in as well about the nod to the fans. I was thinking the same thing, and wouldn't be surprised if the writers checked out the Boards, especially an intelligent one like this , for what the fans are saying. Patcat, before your post, I was all ready to reassure my friend Susan that Holiday didn't really know anything about Eames' betrayals & about Goren's role (or roles). Holiday saw an unmarried, older, cynical police woman & assumed she had experienced her share of betrayals by men. I think he was alluding to the "married liars" that deathroe mentioned, and that there were more than one. A good guess. Little did he know that sheepish, squirming Bobby was one of the guilty parties. Techguy, I also wanted more Christopher Lloyd. And like you, I also pray that this episode is the beginning of Goren's recovery. And for what it's worth....I loved the neat & well trimmed beard. Like Patcat mentioned, I prefer Goren clean shaven. But he looked great anyway. I just hate the obvious inconsistency of his facial hair.

I fell asleep toward the end (not a comment on the episode; I've been working day and night this weekend) so the only remark I'll make is:
Goren smiles!
Goren laughs!
and for the first time without bitterness or artifice since Season 3.
Hurrah.

I loved it. Just a few things I questioned. The central line.
Ok, when they placed in him the ground someone would have started an IV or Central line. So Why did the nurse need to in the safe house.
How does someone run IV fluids through a sealed coffin, then through dirt, then through an IV pump.
IV lines need to be changed every 3 days to prevent infection also need to be check for inflitration.
Central line dressing need to be changed every 72 hours to prevent infection that will infect the heart, since the line goes directly to the heart. It is a sterial procedure, I wouldn't recomend doing it in that dusty building. He had that line for 31 days!
Also I don't know this from personal experience but from some other show, I wish I could remember. An alcoholic drank Vodka cause it didn't smell, oh was it ER, when Abby was drinking? But maybe Bobby just has that great scene of smell going on.
Just a few things that didn't ring right with me.

I certainly hope so as I agree - those comments did seem directed at the fans.
I loved this episode - it was so nice to see a return to Goren & Eames working together smoothly and her amusement at his antics. I think a re-watch is in order...

Good points, ragin. I guess the writers & production crew were more into listening to the magician technical adviser than the medical technical adviser! ;D Anyone notice the D'Onofrio-ism used by Goren? When he was asking Holiday's female assistant to get into the box that splits a person in half, he folded his hands together & gave her a little bow? I've seen Vincent (in clips) do that several times when out in public with fans. I find it both graceful & charming.

But maybe Bobby just has that great scene of smell going on. That's right, Vodka doesn't smell. And because it looks like water, too, it is often chosen by alcoholics. Some of you maybe remember a few years ago the young mother that prepared the milk for her baby with Vodka accidently? She just took a "bottle of water" out of the car (her husband had left it there ). By the way, this episode sounds like so much fun! I should stop reading here spoiling myself

I could almost see myself as the medical advisor on that show reacting like Goren did when that cop started looking at the trunk contents in Rocketman, 'Like no no back off that's not how it works, guys," lol.

Oh how I loved this episode. And yes, to whoever mentioned the brushing of fingers when Eames handed Goren his coffee. Loved it! There was also a bit at the beginning of a scene, where Goren has fanned a deck of cards out on his arm, I think he's getting ready to do a trick for Eames, she's smiling at him and then someone comes in to interrupt them, so they have to get back to the reason they are there (to interview that person or something). But I just loved her look to him there.
This episode showed us that she's trying. She's trying to put the events of Purgatory behind her and I couldn't be happier. This ep definitely needs a second viewing by me SOON, but I'm afraid if I watched it now, hubby would think I've lost my mind, wanting to watch the same episode I saw less than 24 hours ago. LOL!

I, too, caught that comment about "phoning it in" and immediately knew what it was about. I also thought VDO's delivery was a tad amused. Very cute! Bobby laughing was almost the best part of it all. It was a real laugh and you could tell he was having a great time. And the exchange between him and Ross was nice. "Oh. . .the code. . ." It was also nice to see Ross's amusement when Bobby was messing with the younger officer. I agree, The Great Carmine pulled off the best trick. He "disappeared" from One Police Plaza. Dean reminded me (vaguely) of David Copperfield. And of course, Miles Stone is the CI version of Criss Angel.
