The only thing I get from that shirt is a slight pain in my left eye.

I'll do some blouse speculation. A gift from Wheeler's French fiancee, purchased with amore from an exclusive Parisian designer house? When she wears it it reminds her of their romantic nights together? Well, it is a romantic blouse! I love the collar, just not crazy about the ruffles. If it did come from my sweetie from a Paris boutique, I would wear it though. It just seems to be out of sync for work, especially her kind of work. It might have been more suitable to wear to the movies, or a casual dinner with her "amore".* *The previous fashion advice comes from a woman who has to wear shoes with arch supports and hardly ever goes to the movies or out for a casual dinner.

I found myself thoroughly enjoying this episode - for no particular reason. I ate all their red herrings (Bouncer, girlfriend, manager, other manager, brother, other boxer...) and didn't figure out who the murderer was until the end. It was a sort of depressing episode, but I liked how it added depth to Mike's character and Noths acting was really good. You could see how he was struggling between solving the crime and his role as mentor. And he did it believeably, too. Of course the episode had weaker points, but that didn't curb my pleasure. The blouse was one weak pint... ok, it's not my style, but even if it were, I can't imagine her wearing that on the job, you could really get tangled up somewhere... Why not just dress her in a regular, nice blouse? That would look really pretty, since she usually wears a blazer. Especially next to Logan, who in that ep really shone in his well-tailored suits. I also have another rant. Why did the boxer have to be gay? Please, can we once have a good male-female friendship without romantic implications or one of the being gay? (aside from the main characters *grin* - and I'm not a shipper) Like others, I didn't like the flashback. I thought it slowed the pace of the episode and seemed out of place. If one wanted to put emphasis on certrain events, I would've rather liked to have it in a short conversation with Wheeler. I also expected Wheeler to get in the middle when Mike and the manager were about to fight. Maybe I don't know her character well enough, but I really saw her doing that. Eames always gets in the middle as voice of reason, and while I know it's not nice or fair to compare the two, I still thought Wheeler would do it (after she called back-up, which I thought was real). I liked how Ross acted in that episode, telling Mike to back off when it was necessary. And I really liked how he handled the situation. I just always have to smile at his pinky ring, but Bogosian had it in the interview that someone posted recently, so I'd think it's a private thing. And now I'm really curious... One more thing: How would Rogers know if there are many drug related death in the area of the girls apartment? I doubt all drug overdoses get an autopsy. She maybe has other means to know, but I thought it was somewhat strange. Ah, and one for those of us who like goofs. I usually don't catch them, but this was so prominent, I did. When Mike is about to enter the drug-girls apartment, he pulls out his badge and puts in/on his breast pocket, but it's gone in the next shot. On a more angry note - the german network that airs CI will leave us off right here. They will hold the remaining eps of season 7, presumeably as a lead in until they air Season 8. I really don't appreciate that policy. For now, they'll be repeating Season 6, but, to anger me further, they will not show the first two episodes... This got longer than I expected... whoops... at least I got if off my chest

The only thing I get from that shirt is a slight pain in my left eye. Hahaha! I was thinking something along the same lines!

I just think as boyish as she looks a hint of neckline would be good.

I just thought these puffy edges where completey distracting...
And it didn't look "professional". I could see someone wearing such a shirt on a fun night out or going to the cinema or whatever - but for work? For work as a cop? No.

Maybe. Seeing him in plain clothes was a thrill.

Yeah. But at least Mike knows where in his closet he would find those nice suits. Bobby seems to have gotten rid of all of them (And I like the Grissom-look, really. I just like the well-dressed-suit-look better *grin*)

Yes, though I don't mind a bit of variety. They always say Logan had cheap suits but I thought he looked nice.

I will confess that I havn't looked too closely, but the one he wears in Ten Count surely looks like one with a fancy label...
I'll keep an eye on him... and his suits of course!! ;D

Thank you. Tell me the label if you see it. In high school I was voted least likely to work in haberdashery.

Haha "haberdashery" - what a word!! I learn something new everyday!
But you know, I wouldn't mind selling suits to Mike Logan or Bobby Goren. I'd even happily help them try the suits on ;D
