Hello everyone!
I am new to the board but have been watching CI for some time. I am enjoying reading all the input everybody has into the episodes, characters, and storylines. Ya'll are some clever folks!
Anywho, I noticed in this thread someone mentioned an interview with Stephanie SenGupta. Could someone advise me as to where I can find this interview? I would love to read it and get some insight into the writing process and the writers' motivations behind these characters.
Cheers!

One was an episode that I didnt get to see for the first time til about 4 months ago. The first season and a half I was working weekends so I didnt get to see every episode the first two seasons and that irked me cuz I would only get to see an episode once a month or less, and that truly killed me for getting to see the partnership grow and the overall quirkiness mellow out. Once I saw this episode I finally got an understanding of how things started. It was not the best episode, but was definately a good starting point for what is my favorite in the Law & Order franchise. I have seen alot of pilot episodes be fairly different from what the rest of the series is, but I think One stuck with the way the series goes and its been fun to see the show evolve from that episode. Did that make sense ?? I tend to bable when my brain goes faster than the fingers. So I just bought the first season so I will get to see One again and I will get to see the first season in order so I get a better understanding of things. Not that I havent been paying attention since halfway through season two.

I honestly don't think that Goren never meant to come across as rude, he's always so decent with Eames(opening doors, pulling out chairs for her etc...) & is generally a polite person. I don't see it as part of his character to be deliberately rude (aside from interrogating & interviewing suspects that is). Goren is just... quirky & has a completely different investigative style (i.e. use A to find D & then use B & C to explain). When he sees something & Eames doesn't, he can't understand why she can't see it & gets frustrated.

After they interview the couple who lived in the apartment that was used to break into the jewerly store, Goren and Eames go into the room where the young couple bodies are and Eames ask Goren how he can make such a promise. Is it me or are her eyes red, like she has been crying or are they just bloodshot.
