Wow, my heartfelt thanks to Janet, Trisha, Sirenna and Cassie for your kind words about the poem! It's never easy to expose oneself like this, but I hoped you guys would like it. CI and Goren seem to have the ability to inspire fans in all kinds of ways. Anybody else want to try their hand at a few poems? PeachyBC

Nice! They're not as easy as they look. How about a Tanka?
A garden of lies Hidden nature and secrets Confessions ripen The truth plucked and devoured The sweet taste of righteous wrath

i like it but what's a Tanka? I could google it I know but...
How about a limerick?
There once was a man named Goren whose feet were especially long ones He tripped on a clue and fell in the loo still reached for the truth 'mong the long ones
We've been too serious lately...

BegtoDiffer, I'm sorry about your uncle. Back in the day I...On second thought I won't go there. Thanks for posting the pics. Hah! Glad you guys enjoyed the mushroom pics I'm much too terrible at IDing mushrooms to ever be brave enough to ingest anything from our woods....be it for sustenance or pleasure Boy, I hate to ruin the fun here, but I have to insert a big warning--do not EVER eat any wild fungi! On a personal note, I lost a good friend in college when he spent a lost weekend on some mushis he scrounged from the woods...he's alive, but his mind is gone...

Yes congratulations on your promotion Janet, I believe your making the same pay as Goren now SarahIvy, I totally enjoyed your exhibit on mushrooms. I was at an art show a couple of weeks ago, and finally found the brochure for the show. The artist name was Constance Moore Simon, her color pencil drawings where of paper clips, a wishbone and she said. "I find inspiration in the idea that such overlooked objects have lines, shapes, colors and surfaces are monumentally beautiful when we slow ourselves down to examine them. In fact, my work is actually about this feeling of slowing down and thus heightening awareness" Anyway, when I saw your work, I thought of her words! Your mushrooms are beautiful. Thanks for sharing

Wow, Janet. Congrats! I'm still so green here I didn't notice the promotion! Heck, I'm still trying to find my way around in here. Couple of questions: Do I have to dial 9 to get out? And where are the darn bathrooms?! ;D
