Congratulations Begtodiffer, your next promotion will probably sneak up on you before you know it! Course, bring up something near and dear to my heart besides LOCI, like animal issues and watch these fingers flying on the keyboard. Ooooh, are you starting something? We'd have to start a whole new board for that.

Congrats BegToDiffer! I know what you mean. I didn't think I was ever going to be promoted from Rookie and I've been around for almost a year! At the rate I'm going it would take me 20 years to hit 1000 posts. Oh well, a girl of few words...but many thoughts

Congratulations on your milestone BegToDiffer. And you are getting dangerously close to yours Catbird!
On a personal note, here's the latest update on Mrs. T. She had her simulated radiation dress rehearsal last week so the doctors and techs could pinpoint the exact areas of treatment. She goes for her first treatment tomorrow (I'll go along for support), and the entire regimen is supposed to last until early November, Monday through Friday, with 33 treatments total.
She's a bit anxious but determined to see this through and get it over with. At least we can both look forward to settling in for a new CI episode tomorrow night to end the day on a good note.

Congratulations, Begtodiffer! Techguy, I’m sorry Mrs. T has to go through such a difficult process. I’m glad she has you there to support her. You will both be in my prayers. I remember reading a few years back about large doses of beta-carotene helping to alleviate the side-effects of radiation treatment. It might be worth a bit of research...

Observer, good to see you back! Sorry about your computer troubles, but hopefully it'll cooperate during the episodes!
Techguy, thanks for the Mrs. T update. Let her know we're all here thinking of you two, please keep us up-to-date.
Hmm, I am creeping up on the big 1,000! I'll have to time my posts so that the big one is nice and meaningful and worthy of the distinction!

Found this link a while back: www.thebreastcancersite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSitesApparently when you click the little pink button it registers/counts so that corporate sponsors will match a certain amount of money per click to help fund free mammograms for women who can't afford it otherwise. During October (I think this is breast cancer month) the sponsorships double. Figured people might want to stop by or pass it on. --Catbird

Hi, Catbird, Rom and Patcat, Thanks for the warm welcome back. Hi, Nikki, I hope you saw my reply to you on another thread. I’m intrigued by your link to the “worlds smartest dog.” Unfortunately, my computer can’t play the video. I’ll try it when I get to a Kinko’s.
