It's okay. Actually, I prefer bammi. It's what my darling grandchildren named me, the oldest one, and that's what all seven call me . Hey, I'm a young grandma! It's also my fanfiction penname. But anyone can call me anything they want. Within reason, of course. We don't want the DTD coming out! LOL

Best wishes for Mrs. Tech, I hope all goes well! Yay for Catbird and Roper! I am exhausted. This last weekend was a blitz of crazy....my first time running a booth at a huge fiber festival. I thought I'd be lucky if I just handed out a bunch of cards and chatted people up, but I actually made a nice wad of cash! However, I'm all talked out to the point I lost my voice and I seriously need to decompress. Yesterday after the hubster went to work I took a bubble bath, drank wine, ate chocolate, and caught up on L&O reruns....I'm feeling much better today

Hi, Trisha! So, when and where do we meet up for the reunion tour? Should I bring something? Some Italian hoagies? Cheesesteak hoagies? (The Jersey kind, MUCH better than Philly LOL I know, used to work in a deli in Jersey--long ago)

What's a fiber festival? people getting together to eat Special K and raisins? ;D I know, it´s lame... and now seriously, what is it? Hah! Not lame...a gal at the bank today pulled the same joke when I came in with all my smal bills to deposit. When I told her it was from my booth at a fiber festival she asked, "What? Is that like a whole festival about eating enough bran?" I was at the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival. It's for people who do fiber crafts, like felting, spinning, knitting, and shepherds who raise fiber animals. So there are animal shows (goats, sheep, bunnies, camel, llamas, anything with usable fleece), competitions, and tons of vendors selling their wares. I was one of the vendors this year, so I had a booth full of my handspun yarns, hand dyed fiber, and spinning tools and stuff.

OK, Ronni-Bammi, got it!
SarahIvy, that sound so cool! I envy craftsy, handy people and wish I could do something like that. (And I don't know if I've complimented you on this before, but "California's Canada", hee! Are you another fan of Colbert?) Glad your festival went well.
Wow, I'm creeping up on the big 1,000!

PS: Since I didn't see a relevant spot to put the comment, moderators, the Barek hats graphic under the "General CI Discussion" board is just brilliant! I burst out laughing, great job!"

Thanks! :) You know, it's never too late to try your hand at something crafty....I've always been into artsy crafty stuff, but I only started spinning two years ago. You never know when the perfect craft might come along and bite you (I am SUCH an enabler! ;) ). And yes, the hubster and I love The Daily Show and Colbert Report. I keep meaning to participate in the threads on this board, but I haven't found the time. Being an Oregonian, I just love when Colbert ribs Oregon, and I've taken to always saying I'm from California's Canada whenever asked....oh the blank stares I get. :P
