"What the hell WAS that, Bobby?"

Well, I'm a bit disappointed that they did go through that route (Luke I am your father!). However, Mrs. Goren never did confirm that he was his father...just that he could be. I thought Vincent was great though. I'm hoping that this dark chapter in Bobby's life is closed and now he breathe some fresh air.
I did love the Goren/Eames car scene. And Eames' hairdoo was fab.

No matter what anyone says about this episode, Rita Moreno was superb. She is one hell of a talent.

I thought the episode was full of amazing things, those amongst them. I agree 100% with both of you. I would have loved to see Erbe and Moreno in a scene together.
I just---aaaaaaaaaaaaaa. They don't really have time to fix this next week, do they? And if VDO doesn't cross over to the dark side, I mean, to USA, then neither the Eames-Goren dynamic nor this new story line will truly be resolved??? Which to me is out of the spirit of the show.
And since when is Goren "dragging Eames down" (even if Ross is the one saying it)?? They're a team, goddamit!*
*yes, mmm, perhaps I am a wee bit obsessive about this fictional series. sorry! ::cough::

I think they are setting things up for next season. Along with the solving of the crime I think we are in for never ending Bobby angst because he can't be sure of who his daddy is. Of course the simple thing would be to take Frank's DNA and do a comparison but then we would all have a difinitive answer. Not a lot of mileage out of that approach. Maybe I'm wrong, but the direction this last season has taken makes me think they will draw this issue out.

What was that??? If you ask me, that was crap! How many MORE ways can they think of to torture Goren? If he's back for a 7th season, maybe they can start yanking off his limbs, one at a time. Oh, there's always pulling off the fingernails, that should be enough to send Goren over the edge. Wait, maybe Goren will find out that Nicole Wallace is really his sister! How's that for torture?
Why bring poor old Wally into the story? If Brady knew who Goren was, he could have contacted him directly or through his attorney. What a waste. The story would have been okay, if it was just a case to solve, but the connections between Goren's mother and the serial killer is just tooooooooooooooo much. If this is all it takes to be a big time writer, I'm heading to Hollywood.

I would have liked to see Eames and Goren together at the end. Shipper or no, I liked it better before they had all these inequalities in their partnership.
I would describe my reaction as love-hate. The acting was wonderful, but it was like watching a completely different show. Oh, well. I will look forward to others' reactions.

I thought it was great - I think it's going to need a re-watch in order to write an objective review, though, that's for sure...

I just wanted to clarify and say that I did really love it. I was just hoping for a twist that I couldn't see coming. But I thought the acting was superb.

I think we can finally see how much of an ass brother Frank is. Laugh it up with poor sick Momma Goren but as soon as the opportunity presents itself, Frank hussles Bobby out to the privacy of the hallway to pump him about mom's finances. He launched a thinly veiled attempt at finding out just how much $$ was up for grabs. Frank needs to shed his lucky suit and crawl back into his cardboard box with his lady friend. Bobby=pinata.

Captain Ross is his best-friend-in-disguise.
The twist was the ending, no?

Oh and Eames loves him so much, (in a completely non-shipper way) she would pretend to be his beard if his dying mom requested it - and that doesn't get into the half of it. She was. She was his knight - charging after Captain Ross like she did. So much pressure on a guy that's still called upon by everyone, fictional and virtual, us and the story, to be brilliant. And he is. Wow.

Why bring poor old Wally into the story? If Brady knew who Goren was, he could have contacted him directly or through his attorney. What a waste. I'm sure Wally was included for our (the fans) enjoyment, like putting Connie in the cell with Ethan in ITWSH. I loved Rita Moreno. I didn't like that Bobby's brother suddenly was back in the picture with no explanation....when Frances told Bobby that his brother had visited, I thought she was delusional at first. I liked that we found out whether or not Alex had met Frances in the past. I DID NOT like that Bobby's father might be the serial killer. I need to sleep on this episode before I can comment in depth.
