I don't know if this is can be considered as a quirk or not but I'll list it anyway. If I remember rightly, when Nicole showed Bobby (& us) the paper w/ his birth date on it in Anti-Thesis, it said 5/20/1962 (right)? Which would make him a tiger in the Chinese zodiac, now check out what it said about 'tiger' people & draw your own conclusions:
Tiger people are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy. They can be extremely short-tempered, however. Other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority. sometimes Tiger people cannot make up their minds, which can result in a poor, hasty decision or a sound decision arrived at too late. They are suspicious of others, but they are courageous and powerful. Tigers are most compatible with Horses, Dragons, and Dogs

Well, that does not sound that good for my Rosemary/Goren ship, because I am a Rooster and "Power struggles and miscommunications may erupt between the Rooster and the Tiger" --- quoth the Chinese Astrology Page.

[ And i saw an episode last night (again i don't remember the name it started with an A) Goren and Eames are interviviewing this guy and all of a sudden Goren stand on the counter and pushes up one of the celing tiles and startes to inspect the sprinkeler system. the guy was like "What?!" and eames just says "Don't worry he does this all the time." i though it was great! i didn't think it was wierd becuase under the circumstances i would have done the same thing, but most people wouldn't consider it 'normal' activities It was great! "Malignant". Now if I could just think of the first episode you mentioned, where the actor gets shot. That's from season 2 isn't it? I want to say 'Malignant', I know its about the crooked pharmacist who was diluting his drugs so he could make a profit & pay off the pledge he made to his church.[/quote] Yes, I believe it was season 2.

I re-watched Anti-Thesis and froze the image on the moment Nicole shows Goren the pad with the numbers on it. As far is I can decipher them they are: 5/20/62 8/20/60 6(?)/17(?)/61 7/20/61 and finally 8/20/61. I think that we are to believe that the last is Gorenās birth date and that the others were numbers Nicole tried out previously... Born on August 20th 1961 would make Goren a Leo according to the zodiac and an Ox according to the Chinese horoscope. Being a Taurus with ascendent Leo I think that both astrological signs might match with Goren.

Interestingly, Gil Grissom from CSI is also a Leo (Aug. 17, 1956). I've always found it kinda funny that Bobby Goren is two years younger than Vincent D'Onofrio. Along the same line, Gil Grissom is three years younger than William Petersen. Fascinating. But then, I'm amused by the little, quirky things.

I thought it amusing when Goren imitated the dancers in "Unrequited" (?). The one where the wannabe actors are being fleeced.
