I saw only half of the show last night because I got a phone call. but just got done rewatching it. I liked it. I liked it alot. From beginning to end. I like how at the beginning of the show, they took you on the ride of how you ended up in Potters Field. So very sad.....but I was wondering in the year 2006 wouldn't it be cheaper to cremate the John and Jane Doe's of our society? but then I was thinking...., we would not be able to see how many lost souls are planted in that field each year. Thank you for reminding me. I can't imagine the feeling of someone that was in my life, never coming home to me.....for me to bury them. Not knowing what happened to them. Logan and Wheeler watching the skeeter episode.....Oh how I could relate to Logan while my daughter loved watching "Saved By The Bell". But I had my shows as I am sure Logan did in his youth....that only we would appreciate why Wheeler giggle the way she did... I asked my hubby what he thought of the show... He said 'on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 10, that is why I kept telling you to hush it!!!!" (he can't do the poll here....so that is his opionion )

I wonder if there will also be follow up with Rogers and the ME she fired. Logan even mentioned something about that coming back to bite her. Since they focused on him a little at the beginning, it seemed like there should be more of a reason. Maybe not; maybe they just needed a fall guy since Rogers wouldn't have missed the murder.

Okay, so I finally saw this episode. It was all right. Sometimes I feel Noth isn't getting great scripts this season. Thought the ones I've seen so far are all right - well, except Country Crossover which was just unwatchable after a while - but nothing really great.

Ehhh...it was okay. It was a typical Logan episode with the procedure. Nothing to write home about this one.

Yes, it was definately a lightweight episode but not bad. I think Rodgers was right to fire the intern for missing signs of a hanging but it sounded like she had other beefs with the guy before this.
She certainly wielded her power.

So very sad.....but I was wondering in the year 2006 wouldn't it be cheaper to cremate the John and Jane Doe's of our society? but then I was thinking...., we would not be able to see how many lost souls are planted in that field each year. Interesting thought Cassie. I don't know for sure, but isn't cremation rather expensive versus a plain pine box? I think they really do use prisoners to do the work (but I don't know why it is I think that so I could be wrong), so labor cost is low. My theory too is that they have no idea what someone's "final wishes" or religious beliefs would be if it's truly a "John or Jane Doe". Certain faiths reject cremation. If the family came forward later, they can always have the body moved to their own cemetery for a more proper burial or whatever. Just my own thoughts and I have no real "evidence" to support this theory. I also was one that didn't catch the DVD "goof". I wouldn't know one Harry Potter movie from another so it worked for me. Maybe the kid shoulda had "Criminal Intent Season 2", then we'd a been "hey that doesn't come out till the 12th". ;D And I knew just enough about "Saved By the Bell" without having been subjected to having to view it to get thats what they were poking fun of. Oh, something else I noticed: In "Maltese Cross" Ross is concerned with the detectives about going to the firehouse and Logan's last words were "no worries"... then the brawl. In this episode, some concern about having backup for the ice cream truck and Logan answers "Piece of cake".... then BANG! they get shot at by the "Blasters". I'm thinking the next time Logan has an answer like that Ross oughta just ground em. Techguy? How about Chesley Watkins adopts the Albanians and they all come after Logan together? Maybe I should submit that script idea to the pirates already filming season 7? I accepted last season that the Logan/Barek or Logan/Wheeler episodes were a good deal different than the Goren/Eames ones, so my expectations are different when I watch each team. I really enjoyed this one and next weeks looks to be fairly fluffy, but as long as they keep the snarks and the twists in I'll be happy.

Hmmm...looks like we don't expect as much from the L/W epis... I know that I don't look for the intellectual gymnastics and subtle layering we get in the G/E stories.

Perhaps a more balanced way to phrase it - Would be that we expect different things from each teams episodes.

The split season arrangement must be doing wonders for Chris Noth, as I believe he has also expressed a strong dislike for carrying the workload of an entire season on his shoulders.
I also think the character development for his character Mike Logan naturally flows from the sum total of his "life experiences." He's gone through partners like Sherman went through Atlanta, plus there is the sting from his exile to Staten Island after one of his hotheaded outbursts. Logan might have grown up a little but, thankfully, he hasn't lost his snark. More power to him--and the actor portraying him.

Yaaaawwwwn. Five minutes after this episode was over, I couldn't remember what it was about. The plot was preposterous. But the thing that kept me watching was the interaction between Logan, Wheeler and Ross. That's by far the best development in the Logan/Wheeler episodes. Otherwise, they are indeed CI Lite.

I'm with you, goreneamsfan. This one did nothing for me. I didn't feel anything for any of the characters, found the plot ridiculous, and the "detecting" lame. BUT, Logan and Wheeler are a blast to watch. CI Lite/Leight indeed.

Not only is the Logan and Wheeler dynamic great to watch but this season we have received a bonus with more interesting moments from M.E. Rodgers. Since they have an invisible ADA, maybe they can make Leslie Hendrix a regular like Warner on SVU. I am enjoying the Logan and Wheeler episodes more as each one airs. Not only are they a good "complimentary skills" team but they are a good balance to the Goren and Eames dynamic as well. More and more I can enjoy looking forward to each episode that comes this season whether it is Goren/Eames or Logan/Wheeler. I can enjoy both sets of episodes on different levels and even appreciate the different Logan/Wheeler and Goren/Eames episodes on different levels. Some are more serious or emotional and others can be light and humorous (even dark humor like Weeping Willow which reminded me of Unrequited the Goren and Eames episode about celebrities and fleeting fame)

I'm really late to this show - caught it on USA. I found the opening sequence with the music and the anonymous death and burial very moving - so lonely.
I am remembering that earlier this year the guy who played "Screetch" was in danger of his house going into foreclosure. So he got on ebay and started selling T-shirts to make money - they said something like "I saved Screech's house." Looked like an ordinary house from the photo I saw. So pathetic. I guess I don't feel so bad now for not saving more money throughout my work life - if that guy is busted. Either being a child star isn't as profitable as I thought, or too much partying for Screetch.

Hey, I had no idea. Thanks for bringing this up, Lodi I looked it up and apparently some people feel it was a scam. And according to some on imdb, Dustin Diamond seems to not like carrying "Screech" with him wherever he goes and gets mad at fans who recognize him.
